How to install Dynamics NAV 2018 without AD

Hi

Here is my scenario.

1. We currently do NOT have an AD domain as users logon to the computers using their local windows account.

2. We want to install MSSQL Server on a separate computer (COMP1)

3. We want to install Dynamics NAV 2018 Server on a separate computer (COMP2)

4. I realise I can still use "Windows Credentials" so that users can still use their local windows account. Or I could use NavPassword etc. which will require certificates. 

Can the above configuration work WITHOUT AD?
