Professional Service Tools for Dynamics SL - Combiners - Inventory Id

Has anyone used the Professional Service Tools to combine Inventory IDs and received an error message saying "Physical Count is in process involving one or both items."? See screenshot of error...

I do not have a Physical Count in process.  Our last count was in 10/2014.  One of the inventory ids was counted then, one was not.

Any ideas on what I need to do to make this tool function properly?

Thanks,

Jennifer Pippin

Answers provided by users on the MSDSLUG.com - Kevin Young and Cornelia Schafer - are summarized below.

Sometimes a situation happens where even though a count was completed it did not reset certain fields such that the system still thought the item was on an open count.

The tables Inventory, ItemSite, and Location have a field “CountStatus” with possible values Available (A), Not Counted (N) and In Progress (P). Check those tables for the inventory items/site/location and make sure these are all set to “A”.

Result:  In my database, the records were set at CountStatus = 'N', which I thought would be okay, after I updated them to = 'A' everything went smoothly with the Professional Service Tools.

Bummer.  This forum stripped out my screenshot.  Oh well.  The error quotation is verbatim.
