Cannot Delete Items - At least one BOM Component Includes this Item

Hello,

I am currently experimenting with Business Central by routinely adding Items, creating BOMS, and then deleting all items and BOMs. 


Today I deleted some items as normal but then I received an error message for some. It appears that I deleted an assembly item but Business Central retained the BOM details in the BOM Components table (90).  How can I delete these entries from the BOM Component Table? The Parent Item no longer exists, I can't use configuration packages to update because I no longer have anything valid to upload (Can’t upload empty, can’t upload single item because parent doesn’t exist).



Is there a way to manually delete these entries?

Summary for clarity:

- I cannot delete my remaining items.
- There is an item with an assembly BOM that has been deleted, however, I cannot delete the items in the assembly BOM. 
- The items that cannot be deleted are all present in the Component BOM table.
-I have tried using configuration packages to override the component BOM table but the import errors out due to Parent Item already have been deleted.

    FIY assembly boms are not sharable between item cards, unlike production boms which are. The bom itself also can't be deleted like a production bom can. The only thing that can be done is delete each line on the bom manually, or delete the finished good item itself.

    you could try to attach the assembly bom that has this item to another item, then try to delete the bom first before deleting the item.
    it seems the steps you took to delete items might not be following the steps BC like.

    The method's Yun Zhu provided will work for you. But this is a strange issue, standard BC behavior should also delete the assembly BOM line(s) in table 90 when the assembly item itself is deleted. This is of course if the item is deleted regularly from the item card. Perhaps the item was deleted using configuration packages?
