Cash Drawer (AGP with Epson TM-T88V) is not opening after cash/creditcard tender.

I have Microsoft Dynamics POS 2009 and my cash drawer is AGP hooked up to Epson TM-T88V printer) Afer I complete the cash sale, cash drawer is not opening. In fact, I can't open cash drawer from my POS system. I made sure that I had latest driver for my Epson printer, but no luck here.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me here. This is really pain since I am currently using my POS system with cash drawer opened.

We don't do MSPOS or Epson, but double check in your Tenders that Pop Cash Drawer is selected.

windows or opos drivers? we use the tm88 windows drivers, they have a setting in the printer properties to pop the cash drawer before or after printing a receipt. if your using opos the opos has to be set through store operations manager, also make sure you have SO manager for the receipt printer set to windows drivers if you are using them.

This problem could also be that the AGP doesn't have an epson compatible cable but is wired for a different brand like Star or IBM. Check www.nationalbarcode.com/.../connectivity_guide.htm for compatible cables and drawers.
