Unit of aging period in the inventory aging report

Hi All,

I have a question about the unit of the aging period in the inventory aging report parameter under [Inventory management > Inquiries and reports > Physical inventory reports > Inventory aging]. When I defined Days as the unit of aging period, the report can be generated without any issue.

When I change the unit of aging period to dates or date intervals, I always received a message “The aging period cannot be shorter than or equal to the previous period. Enter a period that is longer than the previous periods”.

For example:

As of date: 1/1/2021

Unit of aging period: Dates

Aging period 1: 1/31/2021

Aging period 2: 3/31/2021

Aging period 3: 6/30/2021

Aging period 4: 12/31/2021

I'm struggled to find how to use dates or date intervals to generate the inventory aging report, especially since the report needs to be presented by using years for the aging bucket.

Hi Wen,

Aging is backward, you aging period one should be the start date of the period which ends on the date given in "as of date".

try something like this:
