Inventory 'Sequence' for FIFO

If I'm posting a batch of inventory transactions, does anyone know why the 'Sequence' would be anything different than the order of the transactions?

Ex.)
Batch of inventory transactions are all on 9/3/20
ADJ1
ADJ2
ADJ3

When these get posted, we see the SEQUENCE (matters for FIFO) order them like.
Seq 1 | ADJ2
Seq 2 | ADJ3
Seq 3 | ADJ1

Doesn't make any sense. Anyone have $.02 on what might be happening here?

    Hi Kyle,

    Thank you using Microsoft Communities.

    In reading your question, I am not sure what you mean by 'Sequence'.  Are you referring to the receipt sequence number in the inventory tables (IV10200, IV10201) or the way they print on a report, the order they were saved in the batch, etc.
