Is it possible to export the Outstanding Transactions Report (Bank Reconciliation) into excel? I am doing a bank reconciliation and it appears that the general ledger details does not match the Outstanding Transactions Report (when all items are unmarked). Seems to me that if all items on the transaction report is unmarked then it should mirror the general ledger details for a particular month. Since there are a number of transactions I would like to have both the G/L details and the Outstanding Transactions Report in excel so that I can compare instead of printing the Outstanding Transactions Report and manually checking. So, is it possible to export the Outstanding Transactions Report (Bank Reconciliation) into excel

You are probaby better off creating a smartlist under Financial - Bank Transactions. restrict based on your Checkbook and the reconciled status of no. That would be easier than fighting to get a Report Writer report into a text file then into excel.
