CRM online -- About forms

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Is it possible to add field in one entity from another entity without using look up data type

Suppose there are 2 fields in contact entity and those 2 fields are required in another custom entity, in that case - what do you suggest? Create look up fields? Or?

Is there any specific reason you don't want to use lookup? Without lookup you cant relate the records and add the fields in the parent entity.

I believe you are aware about quick view form , but in that case you must have lookup.

Secondly if you dont want to relate the records you can create new fields in your entity forms and using workflow create second entity records getting field value from first entity.
