10.0.14 Package update in cloud hosted environment failed

Hi,

I created a package(10.0.14) through view updates in sandbox environment (10.0.11) and applied the package to cloud hosted dev environment(10.0.11).

The process ended with failed status - step 27 Update script for service model: DevToolsService on machine: XXXXX

I downloaded the log and checked the runbook execution .txt file. I didn't find any error message on the log.

I tried to resume the process and restarted the server and tried again. It ends up in same result. 

Is the package version will differ for sandbox to cloud hosted dev environment or how to overcome this issue.

    Hi Kathiravan,

    There is a prerequisite to install .NET Framework 4.7.2 before you apply an update of 10.0.13 or higher. You can read about it on the next blog: community.dynamics.com/.../action-required---net-version-and-visual-studio-2017. You can install it and then resume the update.

    If you want to update to Visual Studio 2017, then the most convenient way is to deploy a new VM which includes VS2017 and all related configurations.
