Printing Multiple Copies

Posted on by

I have a client that just upgraded to GP 2010.  Since then, they have been unable to print multiple copies of check remits even when enterring 2 in the printer dialog box.  Anyone know if this is an issue with 2010?

I know this is an old post, but I had the same issue and came up with a solution for my printer.

Our problem was for a  basic HP laserjet that had no other drivers available from HP.

We were able to correct this issue by going to the printer's properties and on the advanced tab, setting the printer to "Print directly to the printer".

    Hope this helps someone else

They are printing form individual workstations - no terminal server involved.

these are also the same printers and drivers that worked without any issue in version 9 - this only started with the upgrade to 2010.

This can be caused by printer drivers. Some drivers seem to ignore when asked to print multiple copies.

    Hi Melissa,

Is the client  running GP2010 on a local computer or via Terminal Server?  The printer dialog box is common for all reports and as a test, by printing a different GP 2010 report (with multiple copies) you can verify whether this is GP related issue or windows print spool subsystem.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    Dencio
