Button to Create New Main Account Disable

Hi,

Can anyone help me why my button to create a new main account is disabled? Currently, I'm setting new legal entity and I want to add the main account in the new legal entity. But the problem is the button is disabled even my role is system administrator.

    HI Siti,

    In which form you are creating Main Account ?  If you are creating from GL->Setup->Chart of accounts->Create New give the COA Name and Description and save than you will find New Menu enabled to create Main accounts. Other way you can also create from Main accounts on common form.

    I'm using this form: GL->Common->Main Account. In this page, the button is disabled.

    HI Siti,

    First Navigate to GL-Setup-COA create COA first, Than Navigate to Ledger form on setup. Assign The COA you created and Fiscal Year currency setup first than Navigate to Main accounts form to create COA. You can also create from COA form under Setup.

    In Your case, You didn't complete ledger setup. That is the reason why the new main account menu item is disabled

    Do you know whether all other setups have been done?

    Can you especially check that the ledger form (GL-setup-ledger) includes a Chart of Accounts ID to which you can add ledger accounts to?

    Hi Ludwig,

    Sure. Just like Nagendra says I did not setup my ledger first. That is why the button to create new main account disabled. After I setup my ledger, I can click the button.
