Hi, im turning around our Warehouse and trying to use BC as much as possible. We have set shelf priorities and are trying to use suggested replenishment (not sure correct English name). The idea is that i want the system to tell me what items i need to move higher priority shelfs. It worked for a few days and now it suggest nothing…. And yes we need to fill up picking locations.. any idea what the problem can be?

Hi, so in order to accomplish this task you are going to need to setup Bins and then Bin priorities. Open the Locations page and then select the warehouse location you want to setup replenishment/priorities for.

In that location card select Bins in the ribbon:

Setup your bins in that list and if you already have bins then make sure you setup Bin Rankings as well. Business Central will suggest bin movements from Low Number rankings to High Number rankings. Inventory is always drawn from a bin with the highest ranking first. Put aways are also done for higher ranked bins.

You also want to set your Min and Max Qty for bins on the Bin Content page. This is where you can set the parameters for how much quantity your bins in reserve or bins for activity. If you set your high ranking bins with a minimum quantity they will then replenish at that quantity. If they have a max qty. then they will only replenish to that quantity.

Once you have those parameters set you can use Bin Replenishments in the Movement Worksheet to create movement from low ranking to high ranking bins based off the settings you entered: Calculate Bin Replenishment - Business Central | Microsoft Learn

Hope that gives you a starting point,
