The title says "How to edit reports" but your question says "form" so I am not sure which of the two you are referring to. If you need to change the form (page) you must do it from the development environment (what used to be the classic client).

If you were referring to the reports, you will most likely require Visual Studio 2010 for that (the version of VS depends of the version of NAV).

Basically the report designing part has changed a lot and if you were used to changing the reports by going to the "Sections" part, don't look for it, it's gone. Now you must use the "Layout" part and when you do, it will open up the design in Visual Studio.

That being said, here you have some links with more info to get you started:

    Some report related walkthroughs: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd338904.aspx

A video to show you how to build a report in 2013 www.youtube.com/watch

I should also mention in the CSIDE Introduction course (https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/course.aspx?id=80436a) there is a module called Reports which shows you and teaches you how to create a report in 2013 from scratch and allows you to learn some of the new features the new way of creating reports provides.

In the CSIDE Solution Development course you will find a more coding oriented (not so visual) report module. You might want to check it out as well (https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/course.aspx?id=80437a).

In Nav 2013, there is no form as in the previous version.  But I think you want to edit the Sales Invoice which is being printed.  This can be done by modifying the Sales Invoice Report Object 206.  You can also use SQL Report Builder to do the modifications

    Hello,

Let me try to clear the navision objects you are referring here:

    1. Report (like sales invoice, sales shipment etc.)

    2. Forms: Does not exist anymore (Used in earlier versions of navision)

    3. Page: All the information displayed in navision are pages

    - Every report or page has a number in navision (Sales invoice report number 206)

    - You can find the report/page number by clicking main menu bar --> help --> about this page

    - To edit report or page you need to have access to development environment

    - Then you have to identify what you want to edit

    - To edit page you can change it in development environment itself

    - To edit report you can do it either in report builder or visual  studio (It depends on the version of navision you are using)

    - Jose Castro has already given a lot of useful link which can be followed

    Regards
