Hello Everyone, Can someone assist me in adding customer telephone number to the sales invoice form. The problem I am having is that "locator" in the table LogisticsElectronicAddress(field for the telephone number) is not apart of the dataset that makes up the report. I have added the field but it didn't work. is there any sample example out there? can someone point me in the right direction pls? Thanks for the help.

    Hello,

Are you referring to the Sales Invoice form or report?

Can you please share more details or screen shots to clarify which dataset is used and why the locator field is not part of it?

Also, can you share a screen shot of your solution, so we can try to figure out what may be wrong.

Hi Pedro, am referring to the salesinvoicere report.

Please see the image of what I would like to achieve. The area with blue writing is where i want the customer telephone number to go.

On the report in VisualStudio Tools the customer telephone number field is not in any of the datasets. (I have expanded the fields.)

I am contending that the customer telephone number is stored in this table LogisticsElectronicAddress because when right-click the field and select personalize, this is what it shows.

    LogisticsElectronicAddress(LogisticsElectronicAddress).Locator

    Please help thanks much.

This report is based on a Data Provider, so you will need to add the field to the corresponding temporary table and then you will need to add code to the data provider to fill your field.
