Hi,
Can anyone tell me what is crm2mdm service endpoint and what is the use of it? and why we need to update SAC to SAS service endpoint?
I am using dynamics 365 online (version 8.2).

Correct, if you have already deprovisioned the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing solution.
how would i know about Microsoft Dynamics Marketing has been deprovisioned? When i checked crm2mdm in Plugin registration tool all its steps were disabled, so should i unregister the service endpoint using the Plugin-registration Tool ?
Read the last statement of the article:
If you have already deprovisioned Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, it is still recommended to unregister the service endpoint using the Plugin-registration Tool.
I would follow this advice or otherwise would leave the endpoint as is and update it as suggested.
what if i remove crm2mdm endpoint? does it will effect crm?
crm2mdm is the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Service endpoint – As part of Microsoft Dynamics Marketing configuration, there will be a service endpoint created between CRM and MDM with the default name of crm2mdm.
It connects CRM mit Dynamics Marketing application.
