Enable option set if a choice is made from another option set?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi guys,

I've got a drop down list (option set) for companies entity that list the sector they are in.

If a particular sector is chosen a secondary option set is enabled.  (Disabled by default)

How would I go about doing this in Dynamics 365?

This can be done using business rule...something like this - considering the option set to be category and business type:

    Thanks,

You can do this with a Business Rule. In the Business Rule editor, it uses the terms Lock (to disable a field) and Unlock (to enable a field)
