Can someone explain the benefit of Access Teams vs just sharing a record with an existing Team or User aside from seeing the list of users on the Access Team subgrid that is added to the form?
And why is it called Access Teams if it's actually displaying users only? Just trying to figure out if I'm missing something here. Doesn't seem like you can add a team to a record using Access Teams.

You assign users to teams as team members. Teams cannot be added as team members of a team, but teams consist of users so you can add all of the users found in a team into another team as team members.
Thanks. But it seems like you assign "users" and not "teams." Is this a correct assessment? As far as I can see, there's not way to add an actual Team into the Access Teams subgrid.

Access teams are called access teams since they do not own records. Records are shared with an access team and the team is granted access rights on the records, such as Read, Write or Append. This is in contrast to owner teams which are teams that own records.
