Hi everyone,

I am migrating a report from AX 2012 and D365 manually. So, after completing the design, I am facing an error below and it looks non-descriptive. Here it is,

Can you try full build of your model if you havn't tried yet?

Hi,

Have you removed a parameter from the report while migrating it from AX 2012? if so, could you try adding the parameter and check if that resolves the issue?

I have tried Full build. The parameters are matching with AX 2012 and D365. After doing some troubleshooting. I am getting below error now.

The number of defined parameters is not equal to the number of cell definitions in the parameter panel.

at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportingService2005Impl.CreateReport(String Report, String Parent, Boolean Overwrite, Byte[] Definition, Property[] Properties, Guid batchId, Warning[]& Warnings)

at Microsoft.ReportingServices.WebServer.ReportingService2005.CreateReport(String Report, String Parent, Boolean Overwrite, Byte[] Definition, Property[] Properties, Warning[]& Warnings)

The RDL schema version looks wrong. This call - "Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportingService2005Impl.CreateReport()" points at a older namespace which could create issues with report parameters.

Could you please navigate to the Reports folder under C:\AOSService\PackagesLocalDirectory\<Your model>\Reports and open the RDL in notepad?

Please check if the second line matches this line below -

If not, could you please close VS, replace the existing line with this one and try opening the report in VS again?
