Issue while creating the sales line.

I have two Items Item1 and Item2. For the Item1 , item is the alternative ItemId.

While creating the sales line I have given Item1 and it is asked for alternative Item Id to replace as shown below.

Item1 and Item2 have different dimension groups.Item has the size and color as dimenison group and item1 has site and warehouse as dimension groups.

My question is After Replacing with Alternative Item id and save still the dimensions Size and color is not enabled in the line details and product tab.

Can any bodyKindly explain is it why it is not enabled the size and color dimensions after replacing with alternative Item id.

when I specified the style and color for alternative itemid.it is appearing but it these fields are disabled .

How to make them allow user to select them(style and color) in sales line?

Please suggest.

did you check the property? AllowEdit should be equal to Yes .

It is someone of bugs on sales line I guess because the main item don't have dimension color setup

Is the variant drop-down disabled too?
