    Hello Tzar,

    Thank you for the update.

Please provide more detail about the issues you are having with QuickBooks integration.

What version of Quickbooks are you using? What version of RMS?

Where exactly did you run into problems? Do you get any error messages?

I am using RMS 2.0 and QB Pro 2011 and I am having the same problem with RMS not "talking" to QB anymore.  This happened when we replaced my old computer that was running Windows XP and my new computer is running Windows 7.....?  I had been "posting my batches" from RMS to QB for the past few years and never had a problem as long as my QB program was open when I did this.  Also, the error message I get states that "Could not connect to QuickBooks.  Error details: An internal QuickBooks error occured while trying to access the QuickBooks Company data file."  I have tried to change the data file location on both the RMS side (which won't let me because it's greyed out) and on the QB side (on the actually computer) to no avail.....?  Thanks.

I think we figured it out.  With Windows 7 you have in your Control Panel a "User Account Control".  It is set at the default.  I 'lowered' the setting and then re-booted my computer, opened QB, then opened RMS MGR and I was able to "post my batches" successfully.  QB did prompt me to "allow or give permission" to RMS to talk to QB, I did allow and wallla, it worked.  I did go back into the Control Panel and re-set the User Account Control back to the default.  I am assuming that I will either do this process each time I want to "post the batches" or decide if I want the setting at a lower setting.  I hope this info helps someone else too!

How do I sync customer, vendor, etc tables if I already have this info in RMS and need it in Quickbooks to start integration?

I'm sorry but I don't know, because we did not put all of our customers into QB.  We only use QB for the accounting side and use RMS Manager and RMS POS for the customer side.  I set up all the vendors separately and manually in QB as I needed them.  If I figure something out, I'll post again.

You can only import from QB, not the other way.

Open RMS Help | Search | Quickbooks | export
