dynamics.com/data/ for Odata API - what are these? Don't line up with FO Entities/Tables

Trying to export general ledger data via the API

https://ourcompany.operations.dynamics.com/data

Looking at the list of options - these don't appear to correspond to FO entities, nor FO tables.  Say we have an entity named PMBI_ProjTable - but that's not an option on this list.  Nor when I grab one of these off the endpoint list, can I find a corresponding entity or table over in System Information > Setup > Export data to Azure data lake > Choose using Entities | Choose Tables.

What are these endpoints?  Is there any documentation?

This an OData service based on data entities. Only entities marked as public are there and what you see are values from Public Collection Name property on data entities, not the internal names in F&O.

Check out Open Data Protocol (OData) page in F&O documentation.

Thanks. I did find that article.

Are these the same entities, as the typical 'entities' one would export to a BYOD, or Data Lake, just under a different name, or completely different entities?

Say in our case - we have an entity pmbi_projtable (entity name), aka PMBI_ProjTableEntity (system name).

I don't see anything like that when I browse dynamics.com/data/

Hi, Yes its same data entities. From OData you can't find a data entity by its name, instead we have to use its Public Collection Name. In Odata you can find the below data entity by using url/data/CustomerGroups.

For BYOD, we use data entity name 'CustCustomerGroupEntity'.

As Martin mentioned, the public collection name is that will be used in https://<company>.operations.dynamics.com/data. Have you or someone elese created a data entity and you don't see it? Check if it's Public or not, like Martin mentioned.
