Hello every one
i am trying to post movement journal, we have enabled new dimension fields(location,inventory status,license plate), so when we are trying to post it , we are getting Cannot create a record in Inventory dimensions (InventDim). Dimension No.: CSTG-000899, 5637169657.The record already exists. any lead what could be problem child here. thanks

Can you check if the dimension number was already used before? So, is the number sequence having the correct next value?
Can you tell if there are some other customizations in your environment, like a security policy in this table?
Hi Xain, you can use InventDim::FindorCreate(_invDim) function to create invent dimension.

It seems like, you would have some problems with number sequences. Please Check your inventory module number sequence 》》 "Dimension Number". Right click on this numbering sequence and make sure It is non continous and no number is stuck in status list.

thanks all for the messages, sorry for the delay, yes i get it resolved, it was Sync issue, i sync the tableI(inventDim) and it works like charm.
