Changing Fixed Asset Sub Class via Config Packages

Hi All

If you want to change the FA subclass after transatcions then the system does not allow this. Has anyone successfully chnaged this via a config package (without validation) and not run into issues later? Are there any other options?

user could manually reverse the postings under the incorrect subclass and then manually post under the correct one. Force the change through configuration package without validation might cause issue downstream and is not generally recommended.

Hi

If there are transactions, it is no longer advisable to change configurations. It would be convenient if you could carry out operations around the fixed asset to work with another better configured one.

This field is related to the "FA Class Code", and if there are transactions they could also be in the following tables. That is, not only in the fixed asset record.
