Microsoft Dynamics 2011 is

Unable to export to excel file from Advance find

It has been saying "Downloading from site , but never downloads"

    I have had something similar to this but not exactly the same. What I did is uninstalled Internet Explorer from the problem machine and then installed it again through update. If you follow the below guide it should help you.

    On- Prem, even with very little data like 5 records, it still occurs

    Hello,

    I believe that something happens on serverside. I suggest to turn on trace - support.microsoft.com/.../907490 restart IIS and try to download file one more time. Log should contain explanation what happened. I'm pretty sure that issue is related to Timeouts.     Are you Online or On-Prem? It could be large data set that might be taking a while to export. See if the problem persist with exporting just 5-10 records.

    yes i just did that problem still persists, maybe because the data is very much. could this also be ?

    Hi Kofo,

    Have you tried to reset Internet explorer if that is the browser you are using?
