
Hi All,
Microsoft is using Microsoft Live email account to authenticate to MS Dynamics CRM - Online. I would like to have a similar feature for On-Premise edition. I have Dynamics CRM 2013 with IFD deployment and works well using browser to authenticate with email account (UPN).
When I try to enter UPN (user@domain.com) credentials to Outlook Client for CRM I receive the following error:
Error connecting to URL: https://external.crmurl.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc Exception: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): No credentials are available in the security package
Works fine with a DOMAIN\username format.

I have the same question (0)hello Matt,
The issue is related to Kerberos authentication in a Security Token Service and SPN's. Need further investigate on this.
Please provide more information on the issue if you have. I would suggest you the best way to move further would be opening a ticket with MS Support.
