I have just purchased business central for my company. License type is premium version. Service module is not showing even though its premium version.
Can anybody give me a clue how to enable it.
You have to go to Company Information. There you should see "User Experience" that you can change from Essentials to Premium.
Hello,
Only users of type Evaluation or Premium can change the value in the Experience field from Essential to Premium. All regular users in a solution must be assigned the same plan, Essential or Premium, before that experience can be selected for the company. Accordingly, one user cannot access Premium features if one or more other users can only access Essential features. This is not the case for non-regular users of type Team Member, Internal Admin, External Accountant, and Delegated Admin, who can each be assigned a different plan than other users in the solution.
The UserExperience can change to Premium only by one of the 2 users that has the 'Dynamics 365 Business Central, Premium User' Plan assigned.
But yes, a logout is needed here. Furthermore, you can remove the license from the users, wait a while and then reassign the users (via Office 365 portal).
If that does not work this issue may be something for Microsoft support to further handle. You can raise a support request via your CSP.
Thanks.
cloud or onpremise?
the service module is a standard module, so should be there.
you have to logout and login after changing the user license type (experience).

Installing items from the PowerShell Gallery requires the PowerShellGet module. Make sure you have the appropriate version of PowerShellGet and other system requirements. Run the following command to see if you have PowerShellGet installed on your system.
PowerShell
Get-InstalledModule PowerShellGet -AllVersions | Select-Object Name,Version,Path
You should see something similar to the following output:
output
Name Version Path
---- ------- ----
PowerShellGet 1.0.0.1 C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Modules\PowerShellGet\1.0.0.1
