    Hi Shabir,

I don't think so. But just putting the class name in your favorite web search engine should help you find available documentation and disucssion about it.

And of course you should use cross-references and debugger to understand what different classes do, where they are used and how they work.

No, there is not any blog post describing all classes. There are several thousands of them!

First of all, look at XML documention inside the class itself. If it doesn't help, use a web search engine to find relevant documentation, blog posts etc., if any exist. If there are no resources available, you'll need to figure out the purpose by yourself. The most important tool for an analysis (apart from looking into the class) is the cross-references tool.

Note that my D365FO application (I don't have any AX 2012 anymore) contain neither AssetAssetLocation nor AssetAssetMajorType. There is AssetLocation table (not a class); AssetMajorType is botj a table and a form (but not a class).

Thanks to both of you for valuable response,

I know cross-references that will just show where this object has been used. I also check some of the blogs, but no luck.

Last thing i also use dynamics ax as well as d365 F&O. Most the object are same.

    Best Regards,

    Shabir Ahmad

    Hi Shabir,

There are no specific blogs or Microsoft documents for all classes explained in detail.

    1. You can read the class XML documentation.

    2. Search the specific class details by the search engine.
