I want to export unmanaged solution which will have all the customization which are being done by using the managed solution within the system.

Say i have used X managed solution for customizing the crm and i want to export Y solution as unmanaged which will have customize components of the X solution.

    Is it possible or not.

Yes you can add managed solution components into another unmanaged one, after installing a managed solution you may be able to customize the solution components if the builder of the managed solution has configured the managed solution to do so. You must access the customizable solution components using “Customize the System” instead of through the managed solution itself.

To check solution component is customizable and what customization actions are enabled is controlled by using Managed Properties of entity.

Yes you can add managed solution components to your unmanaged solution. When you install a managed solution the components of that managed solution become part of default solution. You can simply click add existing and choose those components and add to your unmanaged solution.

I think there is no cons for this. Its a normal practice.
