Item Configurator

Posted on by
Hi All,

My first time on this forum.

I explain you my problem about the item configurator.

The process in my company is the following to create an item configurator in D365 F&O :
- instead of created a configurator directly in the ERP we go through an Excel file,
- all what is in the Excel file (configuration file) can be done directly in the ERP, nevertheless it was easier for the user to go through Excel than to enter the configurator directly,
- this Excel fil is transformed through a VBA Macro in a XML file,
- I import at the end this XML file in D365 and create my configurator this way.

Now I said this, my problem is not linked to the previous process, it was just to explain and to be more precise.

I have in my Excel file a sheet /Expression of constraints/ and I have a problem of syntax with the Operator /Implies/ :

Here is a copy of my Excel sheet :

I remarked that the first letter of /Implies/ was a lower case letter, so I tried to change it in upper case letter, but same error message.

Here is the error message I got when I want to test my configurator : (sorry this is in French...)

If somebody already encountered the problem or have the solution, it will be TOP !
For your information I succeeded to create my configurator in deleting all what is in this sheet, but I would like to understand. Six months I work on D365 F&O and I don't know at all this /language/ and syntax associated...

Thanks a lot by advance
Best regards
