Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

to show negative amount in smartlist - MS GP 2010

Hi all,

I am using MS GP 2010, smartlist does not show the negative amount for credit balance such as for credit note or discount document.

Any suggest to upgrade this.

    You could use Excel and put a 'case' statement to test the document type and then you can show your credit/payment documents as negatives.

    This is expected (albeit not very user friendly) behavior because GP actually stores those numbers as positive.  The  way to get around this it to use SmartList Builder and create your own SmartLists - then you can control how and what shows up on them.
