How to set up recurring general journals

Hello,

I am setting up a recurring general journal, but when I want to post it, I get an error message that there is nothing to post. I selected V-for Variable and 3M for frequency. I use the same account number but the amounts vary. What am I doing wrong?

    When I receive that message it's because the posting date is past the current work date.  For example, if my recurring JE is set up to post on the last day of the month 6/30 and I try to post it today 6/9 it will say there is nothing to post.

    Hi,

    I agree with Debbie that it will be related to the posting date on the journal. I wrote this blog that explains this in more detail.
