New Entity - Opportunity Relationship

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi!

I have created a new entity called Request and in the Business Process Flow from this Entity I want the next step to be Opportunity. So when being on the Request entity and the first step of the BPF, to go to the next stage in the flow I can select creating a new Opportunity and doing to there is no relation to the Request Entity where the Opportunity was created from. I want to be able to see from the Opportunity that is was created from the Request and also be able to go from stage to stage (both ways) with the whole chain intact.

How do I make this happen?

regards,

Tomas

RE: New Entity - Opportunity Relationship

    Hi,

In order to track the Request from which an Opportunity is created, you need to create a 1:N relationship between Request and Opportunity entity.

Once you create the relationship, you will be able to see the lookup of Request on Opportunity.

Then in the BPF you can move to and fro between both of the entities.

    Hope this helps!

    Many thanks,
