We have upgraded from AX R2 to R3 CU10, I have installed the Warehouse Management Portal, configured all the parameters and defined USER, RECV,FLOOR locations as Licence plate tracked. When I try to receive a PO using simulator, after entering licence plate number it throws an error "Licence plate must be specified for this location. Update has been canceled".

I tried using auto generating licence plate, but still get the same error.

Dear Mohammad,

Please explain your setup related details so that we can suggest something here.

From your error my rough idea is to check setup related to mobile device menu items. Prefer to take help from

www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

Is it creating LP in the work order. I have requested your some screen shots so that we can understand it in a better way.

I did a full cil compilation so , License plate dosen't come up but it confirms order completed but no work order is created. it generates a load

Your last answer is misleading me to other platform. Your 1st question was system is not creating LP. Fro here I have lots of question from you. I will suggest explain the process then I will suggest in detail.

Sorry , i was not clear in my earlier reply. After full cil compilation i don't get licence plate must be specified error. It gives work completed but i dont see any work order generated for it. i am i missing any configuration setting ?

If i select a Project id on a PO, and when i try to receive the PO, it creates a load but does not create work. I think it considers it as consumed.

PLease, check Work creation history log (you must activate its creation in Warehouse management parameters, if you haven't) . If you post the log here, maybe we could help.
