HI Members,

Can you please suggest me the solution to the following problem that I am currently facing ?

In Business Central, I had created a customized report for the sales shipment in the regional Language - English. For text purposes, I had hardcoded the sentence in English Language. But, when I am convering the report to Japanese Language, I could see that the Lables got converted to Japanese Language, but the Hardcoded English did not get converted. I need to get those sentences in Japanese during the conversion. Can you members please suggest me an exact solution for the Translation of the Hardcoded text ??

Thanks and Regards,

Lakshmanan R

You should use labels instead of the hardcoded text indeed.

Then regenerate your translation files ( for instance with the NAB extension), and then add the translations you want.

    Dear Mohana Yadav,

Hard Coding means putting something into your source code manually which had to get printed on the report. Yes, I had tried to use them as labels since I am not able to get them translated in the required language I need. When I am translating the report, all the labels except the hard coded sentence gets converted into the required language that I am looking for.

That is the reason why I am converting the hard coded text into a label and then I am trying to get them translated in the desired language that I am looking for.

Please suggest me an appropriate solution to over come the issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Lakshmanan R

What do you mean by Hardcoded?

Did you try to use them as labels?
