In Sales Line table, What does Outstanding Qty column mean?
Is it same as Qty to ship?

This field indicates how many units on the order line have not yet been shipped.
The field is used only on sales order lines and will be calculated as the difference between the Quantity and Quantity Shipped fields.

If not What is the difference between Outstanding Qty and Qty to ship?

It may not be same all the time..
You can change Qty to ship field for partial shipping in that case both will be differ..
In partial shipment, Qty to ship field also indicates the difference between Quantity and Qty shipped like Outstanding Qty field.
So, Can you please come out with any one case when Qty to ship field is not matching with Outstanding Qty field?

Hi, if you have an Outstanding Qty of 10, you might not have more than 4 in inventory, but you want to send the items to the customer, so you put in 4 in the Qty. to Ship field on the sales line and this will not change the Outstanding Qty before you post the shipment. Best regards
