Hi,

Lack of materials for using Flow and Logic Apps in AX 7.

What is the difference between Flow and Logic Apps from AX 7 perspective?

What typical scenarios we can use Flow or Logic Apps in AX 7?

    Hi Yuji,

    Flow is build on the top of Logic App, you can find details in this article docs.microsoft.com/.../functions-compare-logic-apps-ms-flow-webjobs

    You will use them in integration scenarios like create\update record in AX when record is create\update in CRM or other application. You can find more info in the web, there are couple of blog post giving examples of usage, for example this one kurthatlevik.wordpress.com/.../testing-microsoft-flow-for-crm-ax-integration

    Look at the section Flow vs. Logic Apps in Choose between Flow, Logic Apps, Functions, and WebJobs, for example. It's the first link I got from my search engine after asking for microsoft flow, logic app; you surely can find more.

    You'll learn that Flow is build on top of Logic Apps, Logic Apps are developed by developers, while Flow is used by end-users, and so on.
