Dear,
I try to install Dynamics 365 Server v9 on-premises with failover clustering. I followed the installation guide but I have an authentication error (I think). Right now I did:
- I configured Active Directory with specific user service and particularly a CRMAppPoolService. I configured the SPN and the properties to refere the cluster server CRMCLUSTER;
- I installed D365 on server CRM1 with Full Server role. CRM was working fine;
- I installed D365 on server CRM2 with Connect to an existing deployment;
- I can navigate to D365 using http//CRM1 or http//CRM2;
- I adapted D365 the use failover. I opened the deployment Manager then I adapted the web address in the properties to use the cluster: CRMCLUSTER:80 in all URLs.
- I checked The Deployment uses an NLB in the deployment manager in properties advanced;
- I did an IISRESET in CRM1 and CRM2 servers.
- I can navigate to D365 using http//CRM1 or http//CRM2. But I can’t navigate using the cluster name: http:// CRMCLUSTER:80. I have this error message “HTTP Error 401. Not Authorized”
How can I fix this problem ?
I have some possible tracks:
- I didn’t complete SSL Header in the Advanced configuration Deployment Manager. I didn’t install the servers neither the cluster. I didn’t have the information to complete this field. If this is the problem How can I get it ?
- I didn’t install the servers neither the cluster. I see we need to enable network load balancing from 0 to 65535 port. I don’t know if it’s done or if we really need to do it in this installation. Can it be the problem ?
Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day !
