List member data updating when contact data is updated

I have noticed an issue where we update data for a contact but the new or updated data is not reflected when we view that contact's details on the list or lists of which they are members.

How do we ensure that our lists are drawing current contact data?

That's what I thought, but when I view the list members, when you click on the list member's name under the heading of List Member, the data shown is a subset of the whole contact record with the data at the time it was added. When I click on the list member's name under the Contact Record heading, I see the full contact record with current data.

The issue is occurring where we have updated data on a contact record, the data that displays under the List Member heading is not current.

I just wanted to confirm that each time we use a list, Dynamics accesses the current data from the Contact Record.

Marketing lists only reference the actual contact records so the data will always be the latest one. Can you please explain more on what data you are talking about here?
