SSRS report dataset is showing two enum fields while AX table has one

Hi,

I have one enum field in tmp table used for report shown below:

But when i am looking at SSRS report dataset , it showing me two fields shown below:

Even i tried to delete from AX tmp table and add again, but still it happens the same. is it expected behavior?

please suggest.

    Hi,

    Have you tried refreshing your query on the visual studio front i.e I am refering to the property Query on your report dataset, if not please give a try.

    Hi,

        1. please do delete your report from report server & refresh the report server and deploy it again, then you open visual studio and check. it may not come with two fields.

        it is just a suggestion.

    Hi,

    The problem definitely lies on the report layout. Please check the following steps, maybe you missed something:

    - refresh dataset - your parameters will be refreshed also - if that does not help, you can try to delete and add the dataset again

    - rebuild your report

    - delete the exisiting report from reporting server

    - redeploy the report

    Hi Visvash Walia,

    Why do you think that is a problem at all ? If you put these 2 fields on a report design and run it you will see that one of this fields shows Name of enum element and another Label, please refer for details https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/axsupport/2012/08/06/dynamics-ax-2012-ssrs-reports-enums-not-translated-into-user-language/

    Hi ievgen Miroshnikov,

       I agree with you, But it is possible in simple query report only. In the query report will show the two fields for field label and field value.
