my inventory is zero for "A" that is a make item. "A" has two components in its bill of material. when i enter order for 10 units of "A" and back order balance quantity and run MRP regeneration form manufacturing module. no data is shown in MRP item inquiry and work bench windows.
where is the problem and what options do i need to take care before i can run MRP?
please help.

Ayaz, you need to avail yourself of some training or get assistance from a GP Partner. MRP is way too complex a topic to cover in a forum environment. There are dozens of settings in configuring MRP to do what you need it to.
