We run 2 smartlists ...order intake by date

one is from the Sales Line Items and we total the extended price

the other is from Sales Transactions and we total the document sub total amount

Both with exact same date ranges..have different totals...??

GP 2013 r2 with multicurrency?

...we just voided the document...although next time I will try the reconcile

I did some testing in a test database...and tried to allocate and fulfill the order...but it would not post...or allocate\fulfill for that matter

I deleted all the lines...and the document still had $30,000ish dollars showing with no lines.??

Thanks again Heather for your suggestions!!

    Hi

Have you tried running the reconcile for Sales Documents?

Tools --> Utilities --> Sales --> Reconcile - Remove Sales Documents

It has a scary title, but there is an option to reconcile sales documents and you can restrict by document.

    I would try that first.

    Cheers

    Thanks Heather,

Yes we did find a document with different totals...

The line items price were edited...although the Sales Order Document's total is wrong??

May open a ticket...as I am unsure how to fix

    Hi Tami

I think you will have to look for documents that total differently in order to further isolate.  It is hard to say what could be the issue.

I personally would take the Sales Line Items download and put a pivot table over it to get a "document" total.

Then use this against the Sales Transactions list to look for differences.  Then investigate from there.

    Cheers

    Heather
