Need a View with two referenced fields.

Lets for example say i need a view from InventTable, that shows these fields:

InventTable.InventId
BOMCostGroup.Name (From InventTable.CostGroupId)
InventModelGroup.Name (From InventTable.ModelGroupId)

Now as far as i can see, i can only have one table at the time under the Views Data Source, so how do i make this view?

views are based on query. can you think to change query and update view later?

Ahh yes, i actually thought the same restrictions about Data Sources was the same on Queries.

That solves it, thanks for the quick reply.

Indeed Queries solves this, and the beautiful part is that combining Views and tables with queries you can nest this into almost any structure. By nesting I mean a view that uses a query that uses a different view that has its own query. There are several examples in standard using this.
