MR generates blank reports for current year but not in prior year

When running a P&L reports for the year 2012, the report pulls blank data. However, when run for 2013, the reports pull data and look fine. Row and column definitions have been verified as correct.We did have a user run the P&L without the reporting tree and data populated.  The GP companies have been refreshed (re-imported using Configuration Console). The issue persists.

    When you run a report without a tree, it only pulls data from the company set in the Report Definition. Are the tree and report definition set to the same company? If not, the tree test may be misleading.

    Could you point me to how I would check this? It works for the same company in 2013 but not 2012

    The companies are listed in the reporting tree under Column A and in the report definition on the Company Name drop-down.

    Reports were reran to ensure these two setups used the same company.  I'm finding that there is no GP data for the prior year month's that we are trying to run this report for. But, we know that entries had been made each month in the prior year, so I do not know what happened to that activity. Does something happen during Year End Close that affects Analytical Accounting activity?

    It sounds like you have a data issue that will need to be tracked down. I would recommend logging a support case with us so we can do some checking.
