Hi All,

I already exported report into xpo file, its from Demo-environment ( Usr Model ), I already generate CIL too before export.

I imported the file into TEST-Environment

there are message AX3020: The data method drillInvoiceAccount in class VendAccountStatementInt is not present in the model.

but the imported completed.

I generate CIL again, but my report still same.

what step I missing.

Thank you

    Hi,

Have you deployed your report after import. If not, please give a try.

Please elaborate when you get the error "The data method drillInvoiceAccount ...", whether you successfully compiled X++ and whether you didn't forget to deploy the report.

Also, tell which models contain VendAccountStatementInt.drillInvoiceAccount().

    Hi Chaitanya,

so after I import the xpo report file, and generate CIL. I still need to deploy the report ?

let me search reference first for deploying.

    thank you

    Hi Martin,

I got the error when I importing, once the compile completed, error showed-up.

i'm not yet do deploy, i'm not know how to deploy yet.

its standart report in AX 2012 R3 Martin, I just add some value at footer. I don't change anything. and still don't know which model it is.

    thank you

    What's the answer about compilation?

If you don't know in which model it is, look into AOT. You're the only one who can look into your system; you can't expect such information from us.

Generating CIL and deploying reports are two separate things. Also don't forget that X++ compilation must be completed before CIL can be generated.

But if you merely changed a report design, there is no code change to compile.

    Hi Chaiyanya,

my superior said I just need to export and import the file xpo.

I cant deploy from visual studio editor because the visual studio at TEST is registered with my superior id,

is there any other way to reflect the change ?

do export and import step is enough ?

    thank you

    Hi Martin,

sorry, I still new in development.

I cant deploy from visual studio at TEST-ENviroment, because the Visual Studio licensed to my superior id.

I just know about export and import only.

    thank you

If you can't use Visual Studio in the target environment, is probably time to switch to the correct procedure for distributing code: models. You'll learn about it in detail in Deploying Customizations Across Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Environments.

Hmm, something is wrong with the page; it sometimes works and sometimes not. Here is a direct link; hopefully it's more reliable.
