Shopify Connector Setup

Hello,

I'm encountering an issue while setting up the Shopify connector in Business Central.

My goal is to only import data from Shopify into Business Central, without syncing any data back from Business Central to Shopify.

I've already configured the location code and item mappings using the setup shown below.
However, when I try to sync the order, it's become empty.

Do anyone have suggestion / advise on this

I can see several areas that may need to be fixed. Would it be okay with you if we connect on a Microsoft Teams call instead of going back and forth here?

I'd like to quickly review the following points with you:

Is the Shopify BC app installed on your store?

Are items syncing correctly from Shopify to BC, and are they mapped with BC Item Master?

Is auto sync turned off, and are you syncing orders manually?

Let me know if a call works for you — it’ll save us both time. ( i am not sure is it okay to ask this in community)

    Hi Sohail,

    Thanks you for your advise!
I have try to sync the latest order by using the filtering the Order No. on Shopify Connector.
However, It's seems like not working.

In Shopify, I have try to access the app of Dynamics 365 Business Central and show as below, May I know if it's normal?

I have attached the config under my shop card.
As we only want to sync the orders from Shopify to BC, and not want to create additional items under two platform.
Not sure if it's the correct setup I should do.

    Hello,

If you enter the "shop"-card, find Item/Product Synchronization and use:
    Does that help?

Maybe this will help you move forward.

Since I can only see details from your Business Central Shopify Shop side and not from the Shopify store directly, I’ll share suggestions based on what’s available. Don’t worry if it still doesn’t work — I’ve worked with the Shopify connector and faced similar issues before.

    Suggestions:

Check if the order in Shopify is archived — the connector ignores archived orders during sync. Make sure the order is unarchived before trying to sync.

Temporarily disable the “Auto Create Sales Order” toggle. This will let all fetched orders stay in the Shopify Orders (middleware) table before they're processed, making troubleshooting easier.

On the Shopify Sync Orders request page, try syncing a single order by ID using filters — just ensure the order is unarchived.

    1. Confirm that:

      • Your Shopify Location is already synced and linked to your BC shop.

      • Your products are synced and mapped to BC items properly.

    2. To sync orders, always use the correct path:

Shopify > Shops > Related > Orders — this is the reliable way to manually trigger sync and review order status.

I’ve attached my test Shopify store setup as a reference to verify your configuration steps.
