Newsletter Form

Hello
I have been trying to submit the form for newsletter signup. The issue being faced here is that when I submit the form it shows on front end that the form is successfully submitted but on in the submissions there is no record. Along with that in the insights the stats are still the same for the number of forms submitted. What could be the issue as this is a fomr level double opt-in.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi ,

does the submission appear after you confirmed the email in your double opt in email?

For form level opt ins usually the doi email has to be confirmed before the submission is created. Also contacts are only created after the confirmation. If not, no submission or contact is displayed.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,

Based on the information you have provided, our team believes that you can try clicking on the confirmation email in your inbox, submitting it again, and then checking the "Submissions Tab" to see if a record exists.

Here's how our team tested it
    Step1, create a "double opt-in" email

Step2, create a form and turn on "double pot-in".

Step3, try to use the form, submit it once, and find that there is no record of this submission in the "Submit Tab", and you will receive a confirmation email in your submission email address.

Step4, click on the link in the confirmation email and try to submit again, and find that the "submit tab" has a record of this submission.

In addition, according to Microsoft's official documentation, if you use a double opt-in form, the contact information is not stored until the customer confirms the opt-in via email.

The link to the documentation is as follows
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/form-double-opt-in

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
