Hi Community,

We are getting an error "Accessing to the download folder failed, Could not find a part of the path" in event viewer on CDX server.

Strange is we have configured working folder with network path and download session also working fine but in CDX event viewer shows above mentioned error.

We want to know from where the download folder path is being referenced and get red rid of this error from event viewer.

Is this happening for jobs or some jobs. Make sure that the service account used for AOS service and Async Server has access to the working folder. If AOS and async server is running on different servers, make sure that you use the networe share  name instead of mentioning the local drive names.

If it was working fine for other jobs, check if the file mentioned on the event veiwer exist on the path.

    Hi Shafeeque,

    Thank you for responding.

AOS and Retail service account has access to the working folder directory.

AOS and Retail Servers are running on different servers and we have configured the working folder with network path.

Yes the file is present on the path mentioned in the event viewer.

For your information the jobs are executing fine and upload and download session are getting applied successfully but the above mentioned error persist on the Retail server and store machine.

    Hi Shafeeque,

I have found a pattern in the error message,

The error is for a range of rpf file only, say 5637144576-1-R.rpf to 5637144576-18-R.rpf and these files are of year 2017.

Is it okay to delete those files from the download folder, Please suggest.

Deleting that file will not help. If you check one of the retailcdxdownloadsession or session log table in AX DB in HQ you would be able to see a row which is referring to this file. Delete that.

Also check in message DB if there is a refernce to this file.

    Thanks Shafeeque,

Now event log errors related to retail are disappeared after vinod followed your suggestion.
