Quick View search results column header filters do not work

A user reported that the quick view for the Case entity does not respect the column header filters. This is the UCI

Sample:

Go to Default View:

Enter a search term and see View Name change:

Add Column Filter and click Apply

Column shows filtered, but showing Results that are not part of the filter

I know that I am editing the "Quick Find Cases" view, because I changed a column to verify. Other things I have tried:

1) Adding a default filter (and removing same)

2) Making sure that the Find by.. columns were updated

3) Testing the filter on other columns to make sure this was not solely a problem with the one column

How do I either make this work or hide the filter?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,
I tried in my instances(I have two instances with different regions) and all the filterings in quick find view did not work in UCI.
I also tried it in classic client and the system showed an alert here.

I raised a ticket to Microsoft support Team and the ticket number is 119101722000028.

I will note your if there is any news immediately.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

    Leo

    Hi BrettL,

Good news, after talking with Microsoft engineers, it was by designed, but in the future Microsoft will update to allow users using filter in quick find view in UCI, not in Classics client.

    Best Regards,

    Leo

Thanks for your help, Leo. I hope they could see why being able to do all the same steps as any other view that can be filtered, like select your filter criteria, would be confusing to end users.

    Hi BrettL,

    Thanks for your recogniction.

If there is any other suggestions about D365, we could also raise ideas to Microsoft here.
