Saving e-mail outside CRM

With Outlook it is possible to save an individual e-mail message as a file outside of the Outlook application, for example within the local users' 'My Documents' folder.

Is it possible to perform the same process with a message that has been received into a CRM queue?

    Hello Terry,

    You could open the message in the queue, forward it to your email and then save it from inside outlook.

    Thanks Brian,

    I had thought of that option, but to complicate matters my Organisation is gradually getting rid of Outlook as an available application and making CRM the primary communication system.

    Hey Terri,

    Another thing you could do:

    Go into the message, highlighed in blue it  will either say Open Message or  "the email below might contain script or content that is potentially harmful and has been blocked" click Open Message

    After clicking open message, it should appear in a new window. From here, right click, and click view source. It will open a new window, from here you can go file > save.

    Save it as a HTML FIle.

    After you do that, try opening the file and the email should appear.

    That works for me. I also found that if I use the 'Open Message' method, I can then save using file - save as too
