Organization administration: any recent changes?

Users allege that they can see a lot more just recently (past month or so) in the Organization Administration module.  I do not see any mention of changes to this module in release notes.  So has anyone else noticed a change in what is accessible?

They say they previously only had access to Organizations > Operating Units.  Is this likely?

    As far as I know, there haven't been any major change in the organization administration module recently.

    There is a great probability that there have been a change of security role for these users in recent times.

    Do you mind confirming that?

    No security roles were added to these users and no security roles have been customized - unless changes have come in with a new release.
